Thames Lido has to be in my top 3 Berkshire hotspots.
Tell your friends about a lido and they picture a fun but slightly outdated concrete outdoor sunspot filled to the brim with children… not here!
The most tranquil of places, walking distance of Reading station, quiet, peaceful but buzzing with happy vibes and very relaxed customers. The pool – perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day and invigorating in December after lazing in the hot tub for an hour!
The restaurant – perfection! Amazing cakes, amazing food, fantastic coffee and always excellent service!
Sadly no option for spa treatments for now but I highly recommend a massage of any type – best i’ve ever had and excellent value!
