The Garden at The Crown is possibly my favourite spot to eat in the summer, tucked away in the dreamy village of Bray!
I absolutely adore the way they have decked out the place to accommodate all-weather, socially distanced dining this summer.
We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky enough to walk in and sit at one of their cosy cushioned sofas with appropriately sized stools which are toddler loved! We were greeted to a lovely bubbly member of staff who talked us through a very efficient QR scanning track and trace system and menu download.
Dining with a toddler can be stressful and we were really impressed at how relaxed and understanding the staff were about children running around and playing. We dined at around 5pm, the garden was bustling with guests enjoying a cool beer in the sunshine and a few others ordering food. We were really impressed at the size of the children’s meals – super value and we highly recommend the rotisserie chicken and fish and (triple cooked) chips.
Everyone who served us was so smiley and kind and it really made a difference to our dining experience.
The Crown at Bray are participating in the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme, their menu and details on how to book can be found here.
